I often wonder if taking a break gives us a new perspective of what we have already done or are doing. If just stepping back gives enough of a pause? I have not wrote anything here since Valentine’s Day and now I am wondering why? Why did I simply not write a word, why did I not pause to lend you my thoughts on things going on from the winter games to what is happening in Ukraine and for that matter around our globe.
When has it ever been ok to just drive into the ocean with your children in the minivan?
When is the RED Carpet the most important thing?
I don’t understand, they think because they played a part in a movie that the ones that lived it in real life don’t deserve the credit? Or that their made up world is so much grander than the one we live in, or the one to come.
How can that be more important to some than fighting childhood cancer, or any disease for that matter? Those kids are fighting for a life, one that Hollywood brushes over because it would not be a ticket draw. There are many suffering in our country and other countries that until we fix that other things should be put aside.
Hunger should not happen, wars should not happen, but then this is a broken, fallen world.
“Friends, why are you doing this? We are merely human beings—just like you! We have come to bring you the Good News that you should turn from these worthless things and turn to the living God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them.

[ New Bodies ] For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.
Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
I also have been told that when words or phrases repeat over and over in the Bible, it is important to listen to and to study on. Heaven or its versions appears +600 times in the NIV version, +650 times in King James version, +690 times in English Standard version.
One that I know I am an alien to, for my existence belongs in another place, one that is being prepared for me. And until I breathe my last breath I will talk about it and let others know that the only sure cure of this world is believing in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Then and only then will I know I have done everything possible in my words to show others the way to enjoy life eternal. This earth is but for a moment, yet the next is forever. I can’t wait- how about you?
