Profound…

Today I was listening to my local Christian station  THE WORD  and Mon – Fri at noon is the wonderful program Family Life Today   and either Dennis or Bob were talking about how they had received a letter from Joni Erickson Tada  and at the bottom of the letter she had rephrased part of 2 Corinthians 3:3  and thanked him for being that letter.

2 Corinthians 3

New International Version (NIV)

1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? 2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

And he went onto say how much that scripture hit him, and he backpedaled to make sure that is what the BIBLE said, and how he now views his life as a letter written for the world, THAT is when it hit me, that is why I am doing this blog, I wanted to impact others, I want the love letter wrote upon my heart from MY GOD to be heard throughout the world.  Letting my life show the goodness of my Lord.  So from here on out that is what I am devoting my life to writing letters of love to those who need to hear positive words, and lead them by being a positive loving example just as Jesus was to me by living for love and not inflicting pain or suffering.

How great was that love – the love from my God

 John 3:16

New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

May each of you have a blessed Valentine’s Day and may each day unfold a new page in your love letter to the world.
