January 1 Stroke of Midnight Where were you last night when 2013 turned into 2014? Is that where you’d wanted to be?

So our evening was spent as tradition continues, we were at our cousin’s home, and we have been doing this every new years for the last 20 plus years.  We have watched our children grow, friends come and friends go, but the constant has been our friendship with our cousins.  Family its the way we started each year and we look forward to starting many more just the same.  There was the year that we made a table top of glerch, there was the year that we had 8 couples and we all sat on the couch at the same time just for a picture….there was the year that we painted jean items (bags, purse), we made a gingerbread village one year, there was the year that we had fun with Wii when it first came out, then we took each other on over the next couple of years with new games including guitar hero…then there was the year that all the kids and both our husbands got sick, and Nancy and I never did, we were bound and determined that we would not get sick as we had to help our families get well,  thank goodness that new years’ eve was on a Friday and by Monday everyone was much better.  We have done many things over the years and the memories we have built for our families are precious, would I want to be anywhere else that answer would have to be no, this is the perfect spot to ring in the new year!!!!
