Today is a great day – its my birthday, yes I celebrate them, yes I am getting close to not wanting to celebrate them but for now I do.
Each and everyday is a gift, a span of time in which I can impact someone’s life. I have the power in me to do GOOD or HARM, it only takes words coming from my mouth, or action from my hands to help someone or hurt someone.
We as CHRISTIANS have been getting a bum rap lately – so many fellow Christians have fallen off of the truth, lose their way, or completely turn from God. Just how much can one person do? With God on my side I can do anything! I started this blog with the intend of touching lives for good, to aid my fellow man/woman in finding healing from hurt. Our words can often be sharp instead of helpful,
Psalm 64:3
they can cause hurt and pain that others just try to cover up yet the wound we inflected is deep and will take time to heal, if it ever will. We need to be wise with our words, use them not to bring others down, but to pick them up!!!
Deuteronomy 32:2
Its hard to do this with political, racial, guns, abortion, same sex unions, and so much other stuff wanting our words, but sometimes not saying something is way better than saying something that will cause pain.
But how as a Christian can I voice the view of my God and not hurt someone? I can’t, but I can be careful of how I say it, or how I point out the wrong. And here we go my brother the atheist would say that how can I tell if something is wrong when I have a religious point of view, and I say how can you without morals given by God tell me what is right or wrong. Yes as you can see we don’t see eye to eye on many points nowadays. But then the world is very different from just 25 years ago…
How is the world different you ask? I see a lack of moral judgement,
James 1:21
a lack of admitting you are wrong and then taking the blame – everyone wants to blame someone else for their choice.
Numbers 5:6&7
Say to the Israelites: ‘Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the Lord is guilty and must confess the sin they have committed. They must make full restitution for the wrong they have done, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the person they have wronged.
I see a lack of common sense like in judging whether a coffee is hot – come on people of course its hot its coffee….so she sued and got money and then GREED
Proverbs 28:25
showed up on the American Dream, no longer were we out to better mankind we were out to better JUST MYSELF….
I have a tough time in rewarding stupid!!! Yet people do it all the time, and the higher up in careers or political or private sector the deeper this greed runs!
I know I have to obey the laws, but that doesn’t mean I have to believe they better me on walk with my LORD, or that I trust every person making them. Because they are out to better themselves they stir up trouble to create riffs between people.
Job 4:8
