So something has been bothering me since the bombings took place and tonight I came across a post on Facebook that made it crystal clear, MEDIA get a clue we don’t want to hear about the person or persons responsible for the bombing, we want to hear about the three people who lost their lives and the ones who were hurt, we don’t want to hear about the company behind the explosion in TX we want to hear about the lives lost, the men and women who did not turn away even though they stepped in harms way, we want good positive stories about real people! We are tired of the MEDIA always making it more important to be the one who hurts then the one who got hurt. Make it about the kids who lost their lives in the shooting instead of zeroing in on the shooter, or the gun. This is so sad that you give them even a minute of who they are, grades, relations, I DON’T want to know that, could care less if he lives or dies in the hospital. Knowing its my tax dollars that is saving him is hard enough to deal with. PLEASE media get it though your heads that violence doesn’t mean you need to cover the violent side cover the victims side for a change and see how your ratings do. OK I will step down from my soap box, thanks for letting me vent.
