When a child passes from this world, I think the world becomes less bright.  It takes on a different tone, the undercurrent of sadness hangs in the air.  Such is the case in life right now, a friend’s daughter just passed away from cancer (brain tumor)  Lydia was six and a smiling Kindergartner, her family found out that she had cancer at the age of 8 months.  Needless to say it has been an emotional roller coaster ride for these past 6 years would be an understatement.  She was loving, and cared about what others needed before herself.  Her Make-A-Wish was to play bingo with Garth Brooks, she did…

It is sad when a child passes, but especially hard when they really never got to enjoy life without suffering, pain, and hardship.  Enjoy your angel wings Lydia, we will miss you…

Matthew 19:14

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Does tragic events of this world make heaven that much sweeter, for there we will never shed another tear, nor know sadness, as today our country is again at the mercy of others intending to harm us.  Sad for them they will not know the joy we have in Christ, that with him nothing here on earth will ever hurt me, no words, no gun, no bomb, no car accident, no sickness – nothing this world can dream up or even make happen will ever take me out of HIS loving care, once a child of GOD always a child of GOD!!!
