Sweet Honey!

So today as I am writing my mind drifted to the little honey bee.

So much work only to have the honey taken from the hive, and not just by humans but by bears and other animals as well.

Why do they create so much, is it because they know deep down someone will take some without asking.  Is God like that honey bee, creating so much love for us that he gave His one and only Son to bear our sins?

Are we like those bears that come by and snatch just a mouthful and think that is enough, I don’t need any more, yet just the opposite is true.  When one experiences God’s love, we can never get enough!

It’s like honey to us, we want more and more and still we are not satisfied.  We hunger for it, and in the deep of winter we even dream of it.  But one day we the believers will stand before Him and bask in His FOREVER LOVE!   We will know without a doubt that this is what we were truly created for.  To be loved by someone here on earth makes most of us feel wonderful, it has even been scientifically proven that people need love or need relationships to thrive.  Without love a baby will die, without love people commit suicide and murder, without love morals decay, without love wars take place, without love we can become our own enemy.

And love from just one person can be the difference we all seek.  And so I vow to love on those that cross my path, to be more like that little honey bee and create a lot of love and give it away or even let someone take it without asking if they feel they need it .

So I am stepping up my LOVE for my fellow-man, woman and child are you ready to join me?  If you are not ready, what is stopping you?  Only you were uniquely and wonderfully made for just this moment in time, to be the Workman not ashamed of Christ, and to stand up for those who need us.

New International Version (NIV)

Matthew 22:35-41

35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

John 13:35
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Ephesians 4:2
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
