profound insight

What is death, is it the end of what was, or the birth of what will be?  How does one know, if death is really the end.  If we don’t go on, if there is no life after, what would we have to look forward to?  This blip in the timeline of the world, are we just a bump in a fragment of space, never to know what living without pain or suffering is?  We chat online, we friend each other, tag, tweets, and blogs make up our life, what would one do without the internet?  So in this cyber world that man has created is there a way to touch the truth of why we are here?  Can science answer this question, can physics prove there is no life after, can scholars or world travelers know without a doubt we do not go on?  My thoughts are no they can not, because there is doubt, it is our nature to doubt, to search, seek and find answers.  How can you then say it is so, that we just end our life and there is no more.   But wait you say, did I ever look in the book, what book, the BIBLE of course.  This simple text tells us there is more, life after death, a heavenly home, mansions, streets made of gold, and so much more.  How do I know, I have read the writings for truth.  These humble, proud, sometimes off the wall, ordinary people wrote so much of extraordinary events, healings, and what of the resurrection you ask.  How could one be raised from the dead?  Yet it was so much more than that, Jesus was not only raised from the dead, he stayed with mankind before ascending into heaven to sit at the right hand of HIS FATHER!!!  Wow, I don’t know about you, but that just gave me chills.  So if you believe in Jesus you are promised eternal life, if you do not you are promised an eternal life in the lake of fire.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist, scholar, or even an atheist, to see the black and white.  There is only one way to receive eternal life, and that is believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 14

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Jesus the Way to the Father

5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

As for me I do and always will believe, for without belief in a greater life one really has nothing but empty space and a blip on the cosmic radar.
