Luke 2: 11-12
11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
How did Mary feel about this birth? Was she happy, sad, scared, at peace? Did she understand that this child would grow up to be the savior of the world. Did she know that this child would be know as Wonderful, Prince of Peace??
This was part of an email I got today and just wanted to share,
Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master.
He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared Him.
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, but they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
Feel honored to serve such a Leader Who loves us.
This wonderful time of the year we are so very lucky to know that no matter what is going on in this world, we have a heavenly world to yet travel too. I am glad that Mary said let it be done to me, for where would we be if she had said no??? If God speaks to you say where and when do you need me Lord, never say “I am to busy today, come tomorrow.” For tomorrow maybe your time but it is not God’s time. He knows all of our days before we even become to be. He knows each and every hair on our head…I feel so very blessed to be so loved and is that not the only commandment He really needs us to follow… Love one another just as I have loved you…
Thank you God for sending your Son, so that we may have life and live it more abundantly. I am looking forward to standing in your throne room and enjoying every day there and to know it has no end, no pain, no tear!!!
